Rhaebus: War Horse is inspired by the mythical Roman Etruscan king, Mezentius who leads his horse into battle to avenge the death of his son Lausus. This horse was methodically devised from cut nails with some larger scrolled pieces. A delicate framework becomes a powerful equine.Mounted on a ebony stained wood base, Rhaebus is in full flight, charging into battle.
