Tencendor, War Horse was inspired by my reading of The Game Of Thrones books by George R. Martin. This destrier is in full battle gear. Tencendor was the war horse of King Charlemagne during the battle against the Saracens. A wall relief with the horse charging across a red patinated steel background . The horse itself is heavily ornamented with architectural components along with weld patterns.Masonry nails compose it's tail and part of the leg structure. My love of horses and riding inspired this powerful sculpture.
