Peace Isn’t Negative
2011
Steel, Masonry Nails, Antique Barn Beam and Stone
32” x 72” x 8”
Peace Isn't Negative uses the negative pieces from a cutout of an antique saw blade. Cut nails border the edges of the cutouts which almost gives the appearance of stitching. The iconic peace sign is created in the negative space. This piece was on display for one year as an outdoor installation at The Museum at Bethel Woods, the original site of the Woodstock concert! A t dramatic sculpture for an outdoor or indoor space.
