The Quarantine Compositions began in 2020 during our lock down. As a sculptor I rarely sketch. The drawings commenced when I was unable to be in the studio. They started out simply but grew in complexity. Convoluted patterns and multi colors emerged liken to the automatic writings of the spiritualists.Although these sketches are totally unplanned, each one has it’s own unique theme. I sketched 182 of these drawing in 2020 and have continued in 2021. The materials are colored pencil, maker and ink on Bristol board
